Following the GPS, based on Amadeo’s well intended instructions, I need to follow the Via Mater Boni Consili. Nomen est omen....
When finally, the road he suggested, starts to deviate from the Via Francigena, it will not make any difference in terms of alltitude so I decide to continue on the original track. Looking at the GPS however, I understand why Amadeo sent me further on the SP9
