The more South, the more the Via Francigena becomes touristic. The path is now indicated with big signs and I overtake regularly pelgrims... most of them only walking a minor part of the pelgrimage... The top of the bill was a South African lady who had done a cruise and picked up the Segeric route in Lucca. She needed to fly back home in three days... but she had done the Via Francigena....
The path goes off road and I feel home.... this could be the Colorado in the Luberon...
