The past months, my life has been a rollercoaster with frightening descents, dizzying loopings and cheerful heights….. To digest all this, I have decided to search for some calmer waters….
On May 3th, I am leaving Canterbury by bicycle, direction Rome. I follow the ancient pilgrim route, the Via Francigena. Departing from England, I will pass France, Switserland and Italy. This road has been described in 990 by the bishop Sigeric. The track is defined, the course of the trip isn’t…. I have no planning, made no bookings where to stay overnight…. Carpe Diem and I will discover how the pilgrimage will unfold…. I will bounce into unexpected things, including myself….
As part of the preparation of the pilgrimage, I have made a few day tours with my loaded bicycle. On the back, I put two cycle bags with luggage and my camping gear.... As you will notice on the picture, I have even foreseen back up vehicles...
Come and visit as of May 3th for more adventures...

Save travels !
Indulge, Marc. Cheerio.
