Good friends don’t let you down

I have sent a message to Sylvain and Etienne that I am in town and immediately, they make themselves available to spend an evening together....
It is good to see them back after such a while and to experience their willingness to help....
We agree that I will put my bike and luguage with Sylvain - I need to return home for some check ups - and upon my return, I will continue my Via Francigena, using the Simplon pass....
I was right to assume good friends wouldn’t let me down...
i was lucky to experience the same kindness when I returned last year to south of France for fête de la musique : a whole bunch of ex-colleagues came over to St Chamas. I was blessed!
