Bingo after less than three miles...

I take the Simplon pass, 24 kilometers to go before I will reach the summit....

It is 10 in the morning.... the road is steep....after less then three miles, bingo...my engine drops... overheated...

My options : drive back to Brig and take the bus where I can hook my bicycle on at the back, take a train to Italy or continue my trip which promises to become a little nightmare...

I chose for the last option - I have not started this event to take the easy escape... I start to walk next to my heavy bike ... 21 KM to go...
